The Chicago Cubs hope their luck changes as the Crosstown Cup moves over to the South Side of Chicago. The Cubs (11-20) will take on the Chicago White Sox (17-17) in an 8:10 ET start to be carried on ESPN Wednesday Night Baseball.

Travis Wood (2-3, 3.35) will take the hill for the Cubs. So far in the series, the bullpen, which had been much improved as of late, has struggled. The Cubs starters at Wrigley surrendered only one ER in 16 innings but both ended in losses for the Cubs. Wood broke a three-game losing streak with a win in his last outing against the Cardinals.

John Danks (2-2, 5.00) will go for the White Sox, who are now eyeing a sweep of the crosstown series. The Cubs will however catch a break as Adam Dunn has been scratched from tonight’s lineup. Starlin Castro inadvertently kicked Dunn in the calf in the ninth inning of Monday’s game trying to beat out a throw.

The Cubs are ailing as well as reliever Pedro Strop is out after aggravating his groin in Tuesday night’s loss. Strop was placed on the 15-day DL this afternoon. Zac Rosscup has been recalled to take his spot.

Here are the starting lineups for tonight’s game.
