The Chicago Cubs ended April with a big 9-4 comeback win on the road over NL Central rival Cincinnati on Wednesday night.

The North Siders have not recorded a series win; but with a revamped bullpen, Starlin Castro and Welington Castillo improving at the plate, and Jake Arrieta scheduled to return on Saturday against the St. Louis Cardinals the team appears to be trending in a positive direction.

Around the league; the Milwaukee Brewers finished April with MLB’s best record, Clayton Kershaw struck out nine over five innings against the Cubs’ Double-A affiliate Wednesday and should be activated next week while Zack Grienke earned the Dodgers’ 10,000th win in franchise history.
