Jeff Samardzija remains winless on the season after the Chicago Cubs fell 3-2 to the Reds in a game Tuesday that saw three rain delays.

Reds’ speedster Billy Hamilton was thrown by Welington Castillo and later in the game Hamilton hit his first major league home run off Samardzija. Cubs’ manager Rick Renteria was also ejected in the game after arguing balls and strikes; it was his second ejection this month which leads the majors.

Around league, Robinson Cano was booed in his return to Yankees Stadium and heard chants of “You sold out!” from the Bleacher Creatures, Oakland A’s starter A.J. Griffin is the latest pitcher to undergo Tommy John surgery, and Orioles’ Manny Machado is ready for his return.
