If the Chicago Cubs hope to pick up their first series win of the year, they’re going to have to scramble to get it done. After dropping the opener against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park, the Cubs will have to take the last two to win the series.

The Cubs (7-15) will send lefty Travis Wood to the mound, as he comes off a great start as he struck out nine ans knocked in four runs to get his first win of the season. Wood has three quality starts in his four appearances, and has struck out nine twice, tying his career high in strikeouts.

The Brewers  (17-6) will respond with Marco Estrada, who is also coming off a quality start, his third in a row, but took a no-decision when the Brewers and Pirates went 14 innings.

The Cubs will need Starlin Castro to keep up his hot hitting at Miller Park. Castro has reached safely in each of his last 11 games there, and hit safely in 15 of his last 20 overall. In that 11 game stretch at Miller Park Castro is batting .311.

The game will be broadcast on WGN 720 AM and on WGN. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 CT.
