Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to another edition of Down on the Farm. Tonight the Iowa Cubs, Kane County Cougars, Tennessee Smokies and the Daytona Cubs squads took the field in hopes of a Chicago sweep at all levels.

The Iowa Cubs were back in action with the Nashville Sounds, a team who they were unable to rally against and fell 4-1. Kane County capped off the night with a walk-off win on a throwing error by the Fort Wayne TinCaps shortstop Franchy Cordero. Tennessee had the day off while the Daytona Cubs were postponed.

So with the big league Cubs picking up the victory tonight over the Pittsburgh Pirates, let’s see if the rest of the Minor League affiliates were able to do the same over their opponents.
