After posting their first win of the season in Pittsburgh yesterday, the Cubs (1-2) look to keep the good times rollin’ as they open their 100th season at Wrigley Field today against the Philadelphia Phillies (1-2).

Chicago will send Travis Wood (0-0 0.00 ERA) to the mound to face the pitcher formerly known as Fausto Carmona, Roberto Hernandez (0-0, 0.00 ERA). Wood will try to continue what the starting staff has started in 2014 – Cub starting pitchers are 1-0 with an ERA of 0.95 in three games thus far.

It will also be a homecoming of sorts for Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg. After a Hall-of-Fame career in Cubbie blue, Sandberg will be a part of Opening Day at Wrigley Field for the first time in the opposing dugout. It will also be the first home game for first-year Cubs manager Rick Renteria.

Today’s game will be broadcast on 720 AM WGN, as well as on WGN-TV and MLB Network.

Here are the starting lineups for the home opener.

Note: Rollins has since been scratched from the Phillies’ lineup.
