Chris Rusin threw four scoreless innings, while Arismendy Alcantara, Donnie Murphy, and Daniel Vogelbach each homered to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 6-3 victory over the New York Mets on Sunday in a split-squad game.

The other squad stuck out eight times to Cleveland Indians’ Justin Masterson for five scoreless innings to fall 3-2. Before both teams took to the field Cubs’ starter Jake Arrieta threw against Cubs teammates after he suffered shoulder tightness.

Around the league, Arizona Diamondbacks’ pitcher Patrick Corbin has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow and Detroit Tigers’ shortstop Jose Iglesias could miss half the season with a leg injury.
