The Cubs (0-1) will head on the road for the first time this spring, taking on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (0-0) this afternoon, with first pitch slated for 2:05 p.m. CST.

Southpaw Chris Rusin (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will make his first start of 2014, as he looks to take steps toward claiming a spot in the back end of the Chicago rotation this season. He will be opposed by Angels ace Jered Weaver, who is also making his first start of the year.

The game will be broadcast on WGN 720, with play-by-play announcer Pat Hughes welcoming his new broadcast partner, Ron Coomer, to the booth for the first time. It will also be broadcast online via a webcast at MLB.com.

Here are today’s starting lineups.

First, for the visiting Cubs.

And for the home team on the scoreboard, the Angels.
