All five games will be televised live on MLB Network from Tuesday, November 5th to Saturday, November 9th. AFL Umpires will call the games, while select MLB officials and Umpires observe. Plays can be challenged under the newly expanded instant replay plan that is now being considered.

All games are 7:08 p.m. MST

Tuesday – Mesa vs. Salt River
Wednesday – Salt River vs. Scottsdale
Thursday – Scottsdale vs. Salt River
Friday – Glendale vs. Scottsdale
Saturday – Peoria vs. Salt River

This is another step in the process for the MLB to earn a finalized recommendation, which is subject to the approval of teams and the agreement of the MLB Players Association and World Umpires Association.

"“The opportunity to test our ideas under game conditions with future Major Leaguers will be an important next step,” Atlanta Braves President John Schuerholz said. “We look forward to examining new perspectives generated by play on the field and learning what modifications might prove beneficial before our committee issues our formal recommendation later this off-season.”"

Schuerholz is working with MLB Executive Vice President Joe Torre and Special Assistant the the Commissioner Tony LaRussa on expanding instant replay.

Providing a small sample size of game-tested replay evidence will show how it will be used and ways it may need to be improved before it is implemented in minor league baseball and the MLB.
