Chicago Cubs prospects Kris Bryant and Jorge Soler each recorded a hit, but Bryant made two errors in the East’s 9-2 loss to the West. Bryant and Soler started for the East, and Bryant played the entire game at third base while Albert Almora subbed in for Soler at right field.

Bryant’s first error came on a throw in the second inning and his second saw a ball skip between his legs in the third. The second error led to a run. Soler’s hit came on a line drive to second, that the fielder knocked down but he still was able to reach base.

The Arizona Fall League has Sunday off so, Bryant, Soler, Almora and other Cubs prospects will get back to the field Monday when the Mesa Solar Sox host Salt River at HoHoKam Stadium. Cubs prospects can be seen on MLB Network at 8 p.m. CT, Tuesday when Mesa travels to Salt River.
