Happy New Year from Cubbies Crib!

2013 is here and we would like to wish Cubs fans and Cubbies Crib followers everywhere a Happy New Year! We hope everyone had plenty of fun and was safe, because good times on the baseball diamond are just around the corner.
While the outlook in terms of the standings for 2013 will most likely not be much better than the results of 2012, it cannot be stressed enough that the team is moving in the right direction: from the ground up. With the long term picture and the ultimate goal of winning a World Series in our life time in mind, a Cubs fan’s resolution for 2013 may be to just enjoy the continued development of some of the young names like Starlin Castro, Anthony Rizzo, and Jeff Samardzija.
