Mark Prior May be Done

Almost everyone already sort of knew that Mark Prior was done as a major league pitcher, and now apparently the last hold-outs, the San Diego Padres, have come to grips with this fact as well.
“Hearing the Padres will release RHP Mark Prior from his Minor League contract, possibly as soon as today,” tweets Follow the Padres, an MLB.com affiliated entity. “Hasn’t thrown since April.”
The Employee goes out not with a bang but a whimper. Good luck to him in whatever future endeavors he chooses to pursue (suing Dusty Baker?).
